I thought I would post this guide here in case KOTOR players also play SWTOR seeking to run the game from Steam and optionally stream it to the TV via Steam Link. Important Notice: This guide is not for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (aka KOTOR) 1 & 2, but for it’s MMO counterpart ONLY. Naturally I began to search the internet looking for a fix which, unfortunately, yielded no helpful results… until I started playing around with different property configurations, and now I am here to show you how. Originally, I had the overlay working properly with Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 however, when I recently – and reluctantly – upgraded to Windows 10 after my main drive crashed, the overlay would lose focus immediately when starting the game from SWTOR’s launcher as normal.

NOTE this is a complete download of the game again Worse case scenario switch to the non streaming launcher: Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut, select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. If this is NOT present, click the cog icon and then run the repair option. Check for small letters "ST" in the bottom left corner. Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. If that doesn't work, you can also try running a repair: The download process should now start properly. When computer has restarted, run the launcher and log in. In Windows 8.1, scroll down to the Background Processes and look for any Bitraider listings. On Windows 7, sort by image name and look for any starting with "br", they should be listed as belonging to Bitraider in the description column.
